Transfer of Vehicles – Succession, Testament or Intestate Processes

Requirements
1Personal Identification Document (DPI) of the owner (if you do not have it see special cases).
2 Passport in case of a foreign person.
3Submit the payment of the Q120.00 for the Process of the Transfer and the Title Certificate through the SAT-8611 Form in Declaraguate.
4Payment of the tax for vehicle circulation, until the current year, otherwise you have to make the payment through SAT-4091 Form in Declaraguate.
5 Vehicle’s Circulation Card (if you do not have it, see special cases).
6Vehicle´s Title Certificate (if you do not have it see special cases).
7Resolution of the notary or competent judge of the Vehicle’s declaration of heirs.
8If the date of death is not registered in the RTU, attach the Death Certificate in order to be updated in the system.
9To make the Succession, Testament or Intestate Processes of the plates of rent or urban use, submit authorization for the concession of the line issued by the Municipality where the service will be provided.
10 If the procedure is being made by a third party authorized to make the RFV, this must submit the requirements of the Third Parties
Steps to follow

1. Enter Declaraguate, complete SAT-8611 Form and generate SAT-2000 Form and make the payment at the system’s authorized banks.
2. Go to an Agency or Tax Office with the requirements and payments made.
3. Once the procedure is complete, enter your Virtual Agency to generate your electronic badges.

What do I get?

Special Cases

1 If you do not have the Personal Identification Document (DPI).

  • Attach the document issued by RENAP, certifying the process for the obtainment of this document, provided that, the Unique Identification Code (CUI) is displayed, with or without photography.

2. If you do not have the Circulation Card, you must pay for the process of the of the replacement thereof on SAT-8933 Form an amount of Q60.00.

  • If by theft or robbery: attach the original of the complaint filed before the Public Ministry.
  • If by loss or misplacement: attach the notice filed with the National Civil Police or the document issued by the Public Ministry, showing the original seal.

Perform the expert or physical inspection of the vehicle at the DEIC-PNC authorized headquarters and complete the process at the Vehicles’ Tax Registry in a term of 6 working day from the day of the inspection.

3. If you do not have the Title Certificate, you must pay for the process of the replacement thereof on SAT-8933 Form an amount of Q60.00.

  • If by theft or robbery: attach the original of the complaint filed before the Public Ministry.
  • If by loss or misplacement: attach the notice filed with the National Civil Police or the document issued by the Public Ministry, showing the original seal.
  • If by loss, misplacement or deterioration, after the cancellation of the form, enter Declaraguate and reproduce the annex of SAT-8933 form again, certified by an authorized Notary.

4. In case the vehicle is inactive due to theft, before you make the transfer, will proceed into a temporary activation based on the order issued by the competent authority or entity, thereafter it will be declared inactive for the reason of theft.

5. For plates for urban, commercial, agricultural, construction or cargo transportation use, you must be registered in the Unified Tax Registry (RTU) and have an establishment and/or commercial activity in operation related to the use of the vehicle and authorized invoices and in force.
