La SAT realiza esfuerzos para fortalecer y promover la ética, la transparencia y la integridad
El Servicio Aduanero Guatemala, como miembro de la Organización Mundial de Aduanas (OMA), será beneficiado con el Programa Anticorrupción y Promoción de la Integridad en las Aduanas (ACPI), que la OMA brindará a 25 países a nivel mundial.
Expertos de la OMA brindarán acompañamiento con asistencia técnica y fortalecimiento de las capacidades del personal de SAT conformado por colaboradores de las diferentes Intendencias y Gerencias de la Institución que forman parte del equipo que apoyará la implementación del proyecto.
El ACPI tiene como objetivo mejorar el cumplimiento de la ley y el entorno de negocios para el comercio transfronterizo en Guatemala, así como apoyar a la administración de aduanas en sus esfuerzos por implementar nuevas medidas para combatir la corrupción y promover la integridad de acuerdo con la Declaración de Arusha Revisada para las Aduanas.
La presentación del programa fue realizada por Ricardo Treviño Chapa, Secretario General Adjunto de la OMA y Andrea Hampton, Gerente del Programa ACPI de la OMA en una reunión presidida por el Superintendente de SAT, Marco Livio Díaz y el Intendente de Aduanas, Werner Ovalle Ramírez; acompañado de Intendentes, Gerentes, facilitadores y colaboradores de SAT.
La Superintendencia de Administración Tributaria continúa realizando esfuerzos que contribuyan al fortalecimiento de la ética, la transparencia y la integridad de sus colaboradores para continuar contribuyendo por el país que todos queremos.

SAT makes efforts to strengthen and promote ethics, transparency, and integrity
The Guatemalan Customs Service, as a member of the World Customs Organization (WCO), will benefit from the Anti-Corruption and Promotion of Customs Integrity Program (ACIP), which the WCO will provide to 25 countries worldwide.
Experts from the WCO will provide support with technical assistance and capacity building for the SAT staff, with collaborators from the different Intendencies and Managements of the Institution who are part of the team that will support the implementation of the project.
The ACIP aims to improve law enforcement and the business environment for cross-border trade in Guatemala and support customs administration on its efforts to implement new measures to combat corruption and promote integrity by the Revised Arusha Declaration for Customs.
The presentation of the programme was made by Ricardo Treviño Chapa, Deputy Secretary-General of the OMA, and Andrea Hampton, Manager of the ACIP Programme of the WCO in a meeting chaired by the Superintendent of SAT, Marco Livio Díaz and the Intendant of Customs, Werner Ovalle Ramírez; accompanied by Intendants, Managers, facilitators and SAT collaborators.
